Tranquility, Purity — Where Music Meets Space
In the sun-kissed land of Pingtung, we created a serene and rhythmically inspired learning space for a Japanese string music school. Centered around a “Japanese minimalist” design theme, the project blends natural wood textures with soft lighting, allowing students to experience the layers and emotions of music within a warm and calming environment.

Design Concept
- Wabi-Sabi Aesthetic: A serene learning space shaped by natural wood, stone textures, and soft off-whites—embracing simplicity and imperfection.
- The classroom walls and ceiling were designed with carefully balanced sound absorption and reflection ratios to enhance acoustic performance during musical performances.
